F.A.Q.
What time should I arrive?+
Our ceremony will begin promptly at 4:30 PM. We request guests to arrive no earlier than 3:30 PM but no later than 4:15 PM. Guests who have not arrived by the start of the ceremony will not be permitted to enter the chapel. We appreciate your understanding in ensuring Joshua and Karen can enjoy their ceremony uninterrupted. Any late guests will be permitted to rejoin once cocktail hour begins.
Can I bring a plus-one?+
Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate additional guests who are not explicitly invited!
What should I wear?+
We encourage our guests to dress their best! We kindly ask you to refrain from wearing casual clothes such as jeans or T-shirts. For reference, our bridesmaids will be in floor-length dresses and our groomsmen will be in suits.
Where should I stay?+
We have reserved a room block at The Mission Inn for our guests at a discounted rate. If you would like to stay somewhere else, there are plenty of other options in the area.
Can I take pictures?+
Our ceremony will be unplugged to ensure our photographer and videographer are able to do their best work in capturing our big day. We kindly ask you to respect our wishes and keep personal cameras and cellphones tucked away and silenced until cocktail hour.
Is there an open bar?+
There will be an open bar during cocktail hour and the reception. We will also have a coffee cart that offers matcha during cocktail hour.
Where should I sit?+
At our ceremony, the front rows will be reserved for immediate family. All other seats are considered “open seating” unless otherwise noted. There will be designated seating for the reception. A seating chart will be available to direct you to your seat.
What time does the reception end?+
We will be making our exit at 11:00 PM, and our vendors will promptly begin cleaning up at that time.
